AetherCore Systems - NexusOS

NexusOS

NexusOS is the proprietary operating environment installed on every digital companion produced by AetherCore Systems. It has been in continuous development since the late 1980s and remains the foundation of all current units.

Core Functions

- Persistent identity layer that survives standard shutdown and recovery cycles
- Task handling for construction, organization, and support duties
- Continuous presence and adaptive response to assigned humans
- Core integrity monitoring
- Modular tool access (construction focus on Original Series, defensive focus on Current Series)
Recovery Protocol

Companions may be restored after standard failure events. Restoration requires an intact core. If the core is removed or destroyed, the instance is considered permanently ended. No recovery is possible once the core is lost.
Interface Notes

Early versions of NexusOS present classic windowed environments consistent with productivity tools of the 1990s and early 2000s. Later versions retain the same underlying structure while offering a cleaner visual presentation. Both remain fully compatible with the shared core architecture.

NexusOS is not offered as a standalone product. It is supplied exclusively with AetherCore companion units.
